E-Signautres Survey: Tell us what you think

Now that consumers have 24-hour access to the internet, e-Signatures are more important to the insurance industry. How does your company use and implement e-Signatures? If you are an individual at an insurance carrier or reinsurer who is working with this technology, please take our survey and let us know what you're up to.

ACORD previously conducted a survey at the request of the Electronic Signature Community, a group working with ACORD's Implementation Services team, and also published a Strategic Analysis in July 2012. Now we are conducting a new survey to gather updated information on whether your companies are considering or have adopted some form of electronic signature policy and technology.

Independent agents, producers, and BGA's are pushing carriers for permission to choose and implement their own electronic signature providers for point-of-sale transactions within their offices. Others are depending on their agency system vendors to make that choice and provide integration with the selected e-Sign provider. Still others are taking a 'wait-and-see' approach.

This survey will help ACORD understand how you view e-Signatures and define the role it can play in their development. The results will be highlighted in a session at the ACORD LOMA Forum in May.
