ACORD’s Producer Management Standards Project Group has been working with the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) to drive efficiencies for the onboarding process. Using the ACORD Next-Generation Digital Standards’ CanSell message, stakeholders can send, receive, and process financial professional license, appointment, and training status data in real time.
Carrier data architects are currently working to validate the CanSell message. Once the message is validated and adopted, professionals will be able to provide real-time updates on training status, expediting onboarding and reducing potential errors.
