ACORD released an implementation guide for ACORD Global Reinsurance and Large Commercial (GRLC) XML Standards for post-placement. The ACORD Post-Placement Implementation Guide provides cedents, brokers, (re)insurers, solution providers, and other stakeholders a “best practices” manual for using the post-placement message. The guide was created in close collaboration with the Ruschlikon Initiative.
Post-placement messages, an enhanced ePlacing message under the ACORD GRLC Standards, streamline administrative functions after the placing process and prepare users for accounting before the first accounting message is received.
