This pivotal step drives global reinsurance treaty and facultative placing data across the (re)insurance value chain, replacing inefficient email-based workflows and accelerating post-bind accounting and claims transactions.
Through ADEPT (ACORD Data Exchange Platform & Translator), brokers, insurers, and reinsurers can exchange easily consumable data in real time, either directly or through any major placing platform. Any (re)insurers currently receiving placing transactions through the ABConnect Placements platform — as well as other placing platforms such as PPL and Whitespace — can now download the data directly into their core systems through a single automated connection, eliminating the need for manual rekeying from documents, emails, or other sources.
