ACORD's Latest Leadership Moves

We are proud to highlight two recent leadership appointments at ACORD that underscore our commitment to driving digitalization across the global insurance industry. Yolanda Austin has been named Vice President of Standards Engagement and Clarissa Montecillo has been named ACORD’s Managing Director, UK.

YolandaAs Vice President of Standards Engagement, Yolanda will lead ACORD members through our standards, programs, resources, and services, while ensuring these assets continue to align with business needs and support the success of the industry.

Yolanda has over 30 years of experience in insurance, including nearly two decades at Lincoln Financial Group, where she led technology infrastructure efforts, engaged with industry working groups, and worked to improve data standards. Having spent seven years as ACORD’s Life & Annuity Program Manager and the past three years as Senior Director of Life & Annuity, Yolanda has been instrumental in the success of numerous standards initiatives in the L&A sector.

ClarissaAs Managing Director, UK, Clarissa will spearhead all ACORD operations within the UK, guiding the development, adoption, and governance of ACORD Standards regionally. Her work will focus on delivering tangible benefits to stakeholders operating within the London Market and throughout the region.

Clarissa has over 20 years of experience in the London Market as a business analyst for Lloyd’s, AXA, DXC Technology, and other leading brokers and carriers. For the past four years as Head of GRLC (Global Reinsurance & Large Commercial) at ACORD, she has driven modernization and advanced data standards across the UK market, improving efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.

These appointments reflect ACORD’s ongoing commitment to empowering leaders with the expertise and vision to foster industry-wide cooperation and efficiencies through standards. Both Yolanda and Clarissa have demonstrated leadership that continues to position ACORD as a catalyst for innovation and a trusted partner in preparing the industry for a smarter, more connected future.
