Increasing Gender Diversity in Insurance Leadership

The value of diversity is well-recognized today. Studies have found that greater gender diversity can help organizations be more innovative1and higher performing. A recent Credit Suisse report2, for example, found that companies where women made up at least 15 percent of senior managers had more than 50 percent higher profitability than those where female representation was less than 10 percent. Yet study after study finds that the pipeline of women narrows at each successive level of most organizations.
