On April 11-12th in Milan, at the Ruschlikon Steering Committee meeting, it was announced that Simon Squires of XL Catlin will succeed Regis Delayat of SCOR as the Chairman of the industry group Ruschlikon. The ACORD community thanks Mr. Delayat for his contributions and years of service leading this group.
Simon Squires originally trained as a Chartered Accountant with PWC and has spent the majority of his career working for Commercial Insurance Companies. He is currently Senior Operations Lead, UK/ROI for International Operations & Premium Collections at XL Catlin. Mr. Squires has been a member of the Ruschlikon Community since 2010, and led the UK Implementation Group for the past seven years. Simon has championed the vision of messaging, increasing implementations in London, and globally.
“My vision for Ruschlikon is based on four key pillars; Community, Continuous Improvement, Combined Ratio Efficiency, & Collaboration,” said Simon Squires. “For the future let’s be curious, let’s be creative, let’s strive to change minds, and continue what we do best; transforming ideas into implementations of processes that enhance client service and reduce operational costs.”
“I have enjoyed my time as chair of the Ruschlikon community, and I’m particularly happy that Simon is now taking it forward and heading the Steering Committee, and I look forward to working with him in the future and supporting his vision,” said Regis Delayat.
