U.S. Specialty Commercial Insurance Market: The Keys to High Performance

In this study, we identify the top-performing specialty commercial insurers using financial data from statutory regulatory filings. We then explore the key differentiating characteristics and capabilities that successful carriers employ to achieve high performance in both the admitted and non-admitted segments. The insurers included in the study consisted of 194 professional surplus writers and the 50 largest admitted specialty writers.
