ACORD seeks to provide the insurance industry and related financial services industries with a structured and cooperative process to create data standards which facilitate data and information exchange in support of eBusiness strategy.

ACORD's mission includes development, maintenance, and distribution of the highest-quality data standards and standardized forms, along with training and tools to assist in their implementation.

Interested parties are welcome to participate in our open process of developing and maintaining the Standards according to the policies and procedures stated in our governing documents.
