Robert co-founded Steadfast and has over 52 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He was voted the second most influential person in insurance by Insurance News, and was awarded the ACORD Rainmaker Award in 2014. Robert is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker, a Fellow of NIBA, a Senior Associate of ANZIIF, a Certified Insurance Professional and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Robert is the Chairman of the ACORD Board and is also a Director of ASX-listed Johns Lyng Group Limited and not-for-profit organisation KidsXpress.

Robert Kelly co-founded Steadfast in 1996 to provide insurance-related quality advice and service, leading the company to become the largest general insurance broker network and underwriting agency group in Australia and New Zealand and an ASX 100 listed company. Steadfast Group is the largest general insurance broker network and the largest group of insurance underwriting agencies in Australasia, with growing operations in Asia and Europe.

He recently received the prestigious award of Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen's Birthday 2022 Honours List.

Kevin Tobin is President and Chief Executive Officer of Torrent Technologies, the premier flood insurance policy servicing business that includes innovative technology and exemplary services for clients, agents, and policyholders. In August 2012, Kevin joined Marsh and was subsequently appointed to lead and drive growth for several practices within the Insurance Services Group, which included Private Client Services, Global Affinity and Sponsored Programs as well as Torrent.

Kevin began his career with Allstate Insurance in 1987. From there, he went on to HSBC North America, where Kevin held various senior leadership roles from 2000 through 2008. In 2008, Kevin joined Roanoke, Virginia-based Advance Auto Parts to lead the transformation of their $4 billion DIY/consumer business. He also worked for Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) re-engineering their B2B distribution model. Kevin holds a BBA in economics from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Illinois – Chicago.

William Pieroni is President and CEO of ACORD. Prior to his appointment in 2016, Mr. Pieroni served as the Global Chief Operating Officer of Marsh and was responsible for the firm’s global operations. Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Pieroni was Senior Vice President and part of the Office of the Chairman at State Farm. Prior to that, he served as Aon’s Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer with global responsibility for operations across retail, wholesale and reinsurance brokerage. His extensive insurance and financial services background also includes General Manager of IBM’s insurance business, a partner at Accenture and consultant with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Pieroni earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting with University Honors & Distinction from the University of Illinois. He also received his M.B.A. with Highest Distinction, and was named a Baker Scholar from Harvard University School of Business Administration.

Batman joined The Hartford in December 2014 with over 20 years of industry experience. Colleen oversees six service centers throughout the US, offshore resources, and home office support organizations, in addition to the Intelligent Operations Program and Digital Service agenda. Before joining The Hartford, Colleen spent a 20-year tenure at Travelers, where she served as Vice President, Strategic Planning and Execution for Business Insurance. Before that, she served as Vice President, Strategic Program Management, and led several IT and operational areas across Personal Lines and Business Insurance. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of St. Mary's and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, both in Minnesota.

A successful Operations and Change Director with nearly 40 years’ experience in the Insurance industry in a wide variety of roles. Richard has worked within the WTW Accounting Settlement (A&S) function for the last 1 3 years and has been Head of A&S for the last 7 years.

Richard joined what was then Willis Faber Dumas in 1984 and originally trained as a Certified Accountant before taking on more insurance based, client facing roles. Richard has a history of strong strategic and operational leadership, with significant experience managing people, projects, budgets and business transformation, across multiple geographies and stakeholders.

Within A&S, Richard oversees a function that manages everything post billing in the operations arena, including debt chasing, query and accounting relationship management, receipts and payments and cashiering, managing both WTW and Client money.

WTW A&S are e Accounting market leaders, using ACORD standard messaging to replace paper submissions / accounting. Richard is a member of the Ruschlikon Steering Group and actively involved in London Market modernisation activity.

In addition to the above, Richard is Chair of the WTW Ipswich Management Group and the local sponsor of the WTW Young Professionals. Outside of WTW, Richard is part of Local, London Market and Global Steering Groups and Boards , including the ACORD Board and London Advisory.

Devine leads the Business Capabilities Office, whose Product, Information Management & Analytics, and Strategy, Planning & Execution groups provide shared services support to Business Insurance. Devine’s accountability includes leading key capability focus areas such as customer experience and digital, agency technology integration and workstation, and underwriter tools and workspace. Since joining Travelers in 2005 in Personal Insurance Product Management, Devine has successfully led business efforts across several areas that have made significant contributions to creating value for Travelers customers. For two years, he led the Personal Lines Business Center in Syracuse, New York, and in 2010 he returned to Hartford to establish and lead the PI Platform Office with responsibility for strategy and execution of the PI business platforms. Additionally, Devine has held key leadership roles at the Enterprise level across Operations and Digital. Devine holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University at Fullerton and a J.D. from Whittier Law School, magna cum laude.

Ian Haycock was appointed as Chief Innovation & Transformation Officer for Corporate Solutions and member of the Corporate Solutions Executive Committee with effect from 1st September 2022. Ian will also continue in his role as Swiss Re Group Chief Data Officer. Ian joined Swiss Re in 2003 and has held numerous roles including Chief Operating Officer for Asset Management between 2012 and 2020. In 2020, Ian was appointed as the inaugural Swiss Re Group Chief Data Officer with responsibility for leading Swiss Re's Data & Analytics Strategy and driving Swiss Re's ambition as a data led risk knowledge company. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Ian spent 10 years in investment banking working at NatWest Financial Markets spanning several technical and management roles within the IT, Operations and Risk Management. Before moving into financial services Ian spent five years in the nuclear and defence industry designing and developing technical engineering systems and models. Ian graduated with a first-class degree in mathematics from the University of London.

Bob James is Chief Operations Officer at Lloyd’s focused on aligning the Market Transformation Digitalisation (Blueprint Two programme) with the Operations functions at Lloyd’s.

With a broad sector background, Bob is a senior operating executive with a successful track record in business (P&L) management, marketing, operations, investment banking, offshore sourcing, technology development, data and analytics, InsurTech investments, and business transformation. He has held C-Suite roles with leading U.S. and International insurers in operations, underwriting, sales, sales management, marketing, technology, P&L management offshore sourcing, and business transformation. Bob is involved in the Insurtech ecosystem with experience in business plan development, capital raising, and connecting start-ups to the insurance industry.

Bob is a member of the ACORD Board, the PPL (Placing Platform Limited Board), the London Market Joint Venture Board and also sits on the Board of The Institutes (a U.S. Based Insurance Educational Association).

Mike began his career in Financial Services with JP Morgan Chase where he worked for 17 years holding many different roles across Operations and Technology. Prior to leaving JP Morgan to join Citigroup, Mike was the Global Head of Technology Delivery for Private Bank and Private Client Services. In 2007, Mike joined Citigroup as the CTO for the Institutional Client group responsible for Architecture, Engineering and Infrastructure. He decided to join TD Bank in 2014 to lead Global Infrastructure and Engineering, relocating to Canada. Mike returned to the US in 2019 to work with Chubb as EVP Global Head of Infrastructure and Technology Operations. In 2020 he was appointed CO-CIO Chubb Global Technology.

Mike holds a BS Degree from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the University of Florida. He currently resides in New Jersey with his family.

John Kellington is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer for Cincinnati Insurance and is responsible for all IT related initiatives at Cincinnati. Prior to Cincinnati Insurance, John served as senior vice president of the ACORD Corporation, responsible for global standards development, IT, corporate finance, and membership. Prior to ACORD, John served as Chief Technology Officer for Ohio Casualty Group and as Principal for IBM Global Services’ national insurance practice. John also serves on the ACORD Corporation Board of Directors and the Board and Audit Committee of Wespath Pension and Benefits.

Mark Knipfer is Chief Operations Officer for Zurich North America, a leading provider of insurance products and services, including workers’ compensation, liability, property, specialty and F&I (finance and insurance) for a number of major industries, such as Construction, Auto Dealers and Technology. It offers life insurance and disability coverage in the United States. Zurich employs approximately 9,000 people in North America. It’s a top-four commercial insurer in the U.S. and has been insuring U.S. businesses for more than 100 years. In his role as Chief Operations & Technology Officer, Mr. Knipfer is responsible for operational functions including information technology, underwriting services, premium audit, information governance, business resilience and real estate. In previous roles, he led Zurich North America’s underwriting support and service team and served as head of strategy. Before joining Zurich in 2007, Mr. Knipfer was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company in Chicago and an Associate in the fixed income division of Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York.  He serves on the board of the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD), a global, nonprofit organization serving the insurance and related industries.  Mr. Knipfer received a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois, where he graduated with University Honors. He has also received the Illinois CPA Society’s Bronze Medal Award for achievement on the CPA examination.

Mr. Krishnamoorthy is the CTO for Hamilton Insurance Group where he leads the technology transformation of specialty insurance and reinsurance platforms. He has almost 30 years’ experience in digital technology, software development and operations, product development, and engineering. He has successfully led global digital transformation efforts in the finance and education industries. He joined Hamilton from Coleman Research where he was Chief Technology Officer. During his four-year tenure, Mr. Krishnamoorthy led Coleman Research’s digital transformation and new SAAS product development. Prior to joining Coleman Research, Mr. Krishnamoorthy was VP, Digital Technology, at McGraw-Hill Higher Education. He has also worked at Interactive Data as Head of Software Development and Operations, Thomson Reuters as Head of Platform Development, and CIBC World Markets as Executive Director. Mr. Krishnamoorthy holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Government College of Engineering in Salem, India, and a Master of Computer Science degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey.

Jen Kyung is the P&C Chief Underwriter at USAA and is responsible for Underwriting strategy and acceptability, operations, quality and regulatory management and documents. Jen has been in the P&C Insurance Industry for over 25 years and prior to joining USAA in 2019, Jen has held leadership roles at both P&C Insurance carriers as well as in consulting. Jen was a Managing Director in Ernst and Young’s Global Underwriting practice developing strategic solutions for P&C carriers including business transformations related to ‘Underwriter of the Future’. Jen held a broad range of leadership roles at Zurich Insurance for nearly 14 years including Underwriting Quality, Underwriting Support field operations, Product Development, and Headquarters and High-Performance Culture. Jen also spent nearly 9 years at Accenture in their Global Underwriting practice primarily focused on automated underwriting solutions and underwriting transformation.

Jen is a current Chair of Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I), on the ACORD Board of Directors, and a prior Board Liaison to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Midwest Division. Jen previously was VP, Strategy on the Board of WINGS, Program Inc., a non-profit dedicated to building programs and housing for victims of domestic violence. Jen graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics and is an active member of the Northwestern Alumni Admissions Council.
Section 2 – Continuing Directors

Dave Matcham, FCII is Chief Executive of the International Underwriting Association of London (IUA). IUA is the market association representing insurance and reinsurance companies writing international business in or through London, outside the Lloyd’s market. In 2018, IUA members wrote circa $35 billion gross premium. Previous to joining IUA at its formation on 31 December 1998, Dave worked for 18 years, many in a senior managerial position, for the Institute of London Underwriters – a long established trade association for marine and aviation insurers in London. ILU merged with LIRMA to form IUA as the sole representative voice for the London company market on 31 December 1998 with Dave being appointed Director of Operations.

Dave was appointed Chief Executive on 17 March 2005 and joined the IUA Board at that time. Dave obtained his Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1986 and his Fellowship (specialising in Aviation) in 1989. Dave serves on many market groups on behalf of the company market, notably the London Market Group and is a Director of Xchanging Ins-sure Services (now part of the DXC Group). Dave also serves on the board of the UK chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. Dave sits on the IUMI Facts & Figures Committee and regularly leads the UK (IUA) delegation at annual IUMI conferences.

Patrick Molineux is the Managing Director of LIMOSS (London Insurance Market Operations and Strategic Sourcing). LIMOSS was established by Lloyd’s of London, the International Underwriting Association (IUA) and Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) to source and operate the Market Services used to support the London Insurance Market. Patrick previously worked at CSC Computer Sciences Corporation (prior to its merger to create DXC Technology) where he was most recently general manager responsible for CSC’s insurance business in the UK. Over his 20 years with CSC, Patrick held roles including running CSC’s global insurance strategy, management consulting, sales and programme management. Prior to CSC, Patrick worked for 10 years in the insurance industry. Patrick is 51 years old, married and lives in Surrey, United Kingdom.

Dr. Schaffer is Head of Reinsurance Accounting (Life and Non-Life) at Munich Re. He acts as Global Process Owner for the technical accounting and claims processing of Munich Re's reinsurance group. From 2010 to 2021, he headed the Corporate Performance and Capital Management department in Group Controlling of Munich Re Group and was Chief Financial Officer of DKV Belgium S.A. Prior to that, he held various positions in Munich Re's Finance division. From 2001 until he joined Munich Re in 2005, he was a lecturer at the Institute for Accounting, Auditing and Analysis at the Munich School of Management at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He holds a degree in business administration and a doctorate in economics.

Ralf Schneider is Allianz Group CIO since October 2010. From 2010 until 2016, he also held the position as Board Member for IT of Allianz Technology SE. Before that, he had been CIO of Allianz Germany (Allianz Deutschland AG) for five years. In his 27 years with Allianz (since 1995), Schneider has had several executive positions in the IT area, e.g. department head of “Allianz Sales Information Systems” or division head of “E-Business and Project Controlling Germany”.

Besides his career at Allianz, Ralf Schneider holds senior mandates in several Cyber Security related organizations like “Cyber Security Sharing & Analytics (CSSA) e.V.”, the “Deutsche Cyber Sicherheitsorganisation” (DCSO) as well as the Digital Society Institute (DSI) of the ESMT in Berlin. He is also engaged as Vice Chairman in the German Federal Association of IT Users (VOICE e.V.), as a senator of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech) and as an advisor of the German National research Center of applied Cybersecurity Athene. Ralf Schneider graduated in mathematics and holds a doctor’s degree in computer science.
