Important note about insurance claims:

ACORD is not an insurance company and does not process claims or provide insurance coverage of any kind. You must contact your insurance company or your agent directly for all claims. Please do not send claim letters or related documents to ACORD.

Sometimes police reports mistakenly list "ACORD" as an insurer because the ACORD name and logo are on the ACORD Forms used throughout the insurance industry. Unfortunately ACORD has no ability to identify the proper insurer if this happens. Please do not send inquiries seeking the name of a driver's insurance company. We do not have this information.

How to identify the proper party to contact about your claim:

• On your automobile insurance card, look for the field that says "Agency" or "Company."
• On an ACORD Form such as a Certificate of Insurance, look for the field that says "Producer" at the upper left.
