What it Takes to Be an Expert
An ACE certification requires you to take and pass three exams:
- ACORD Information
The first exam focuses on ACORD's history, standards development process, operating procedures, maintenance request process, and related topics.
- Industry Knowledge
An understanding and knowledge base of the insurance industry is essential for proper standards implementation. Click here for a list of qualifying industry exams.
- Standards Knowledge
The third component is domain-specific standards knowledge from one, or more, of ACORD's Standards domains (Life, Annuity & Health; Property & Casualty/Surety; Reinsurance & Large Commercial).
