Working Groups
ACORD's Working Groups and Public Subcommittees are an integral part of the ACORD standards development process. Each group focuses on additions and enhancements to particular areas of ACORD's Standards. Active participation in these meetings is reserved for current ACORD members, who are encouraged to send volunteer representatives to attend these groups.

Getting involved enables your organization to:

  • help build standards that address your specific business needs
  • develop in-house expertise through working with industry leaders
  • stay on the leading edge of standards implementation

There are official working groups for Life & Annuity &, Property & Casualty, Reinsurance, and Common Services programs as well as public subcommittees. Detailed information about each group and/or subcommittee, how to participate, and contact information can be obtained by clicking on the links below. All documents are in PDF format.

If you are already a member of a group, please go to Teams.ACORD.org.
 
Joining a Working Group

If you are already registered on teams.acord.org:

  • Log into teams.acord.org using your existing username and password
  • When you find the group you wish to join, click to enter and view the information
  • If you wish to join this group, click on "Join Group"

If you are already registered on www.acord.org but not teams.acord.org:

  • Send an email to workinggroups@acord.org
  • Indicate which group(s) you wish to join
  • You'll receive a confirmation
  • You are also now a member of teams.acord.org and can join additional working groups

If you are not registered at all:

  • Click on the Register link at the top of this page
  • Complete the online site registration process
  • You'll receive a confirmation that you are now registered on ACORD's site
  • Forward that email to workinggroups@acord.org
  • Indicate which group(s) you wish to join
  • You'll receive a confirmation

You are also now a member of teams.acord.org and can join additional working groups.
