Relationships
In 2000 and 2001, ACORD expanded and deepened its strategic alliances
in the pursuit of standards-based, straight-through processing. Through
these relationships, ACORD standards are being mapped and harmonized
to other industry and cross-industry standards implemented in various

For over 30 years ACORD has been dedicated to helping the industry
cooperatively develop, maintain and implement standards for the easy
sharing of information between data partners. With this goal in mind,
ACORD offers a variety of Membership Programs which provide organizations
with an opportunity to become an integral part of the standard-setting
process, as well as several other Programs that offer access to specific
ACORD products and services.
