Plenary sessions are your opportunity to
discuss key issues and maintenance requests (MRs) with
your peers in preparation for final voting. Sessions are
held in the spring and fall of each year.
Plenary is the final review before the full
membership votes on MRs. Members representing carriers,
reinsurers, producers/distributors and solution providers
participate at the plenary sessions to examine all facets
of each MRs requirements and impact on the standards.
Plenary sessions are arguably one of the
best ways to learn and understand the nuances of the specific
MRs and the evolution of ACORD standards. This is
your opportunity to better understand the standard, the
standards process and to interact with other active and
very knowledgeable members.
If you have submitted an MR, it is
essential that you attend to address any questions or
concerns attendees may have with the request.
