ACORD Forum London Scheduled for 17-18 October, Looks to Future of the Market
LONDON, UK & PEARL RIVER, NY - 21 June 2007 - Leading industry experts from London, the US and the EU will gather at Gibson Hall on 17-18 October for the 2007 ACORD Forum London. The event will focus on where the industry and the market are today and what the future holds in these changing times.
As the insurance and reinsurance industries continue to evolve, it's essential to keep up on the latest information and gain new insights from leading experts in the field. From emerging markets and the impact of Bermuda to catastrophic exposure reporting and regulatory requirements, the speakers at the ACORD Forum London will take on many of today's important issues.
"The 2005 Forum gave us a great look inside at the primary issue facing us at the time, the Reform. Now, we're broadening our view and looking at how the industry itself is changing, examining the many new influences on us, and gaining a clearer vision of the future," said Roy Laker, assistant vice president, London Office, ACORD.
Admission to the ACORD Forum London is complimentary and registration is available on-line at www.acord.org/londonforum.
This year's keynote speaker is Dennis Mahoney, chairman, Aon Global. Other speakers include representatives from leading insurers and reinsurers. Topics include best practices, the reinsurance implementation roadmap, and the future of placing. A list of currently scheduled speakers and sessions is available at www.acord.org/londonforum.
In addition to the many sessions, the ACORD Forum London exhibit hall will be open throughout the day, offering opportunities to meet with leading solution providers while watching a live simulcast from the session hall.
